Now that the election is over, let's bring our attention back to the sports in this neck of the woods. Got some rivalry games this weekend, Appy/PV.....Burton/Kelly, etc. let's hear some predictions and thoughts as to why you predicted the way you did.

    Re: Ok now!!!

IMO, PV and Appy will be closer than it has in a good while. Make no mistake, this is the one game neither team ever wants to lose. Just hopin' for a hard hitting, clean but slightly dirty, knock down drag out affair 2moro night. Hope no one gets injured..and good luck to both sides. There is more history in this rivalry than any in this area..must have something to do with these 2 being the most decorated programs in SWVA. Just hopin' it's a good old fashioned slobber knocker.
...And if you ain't down with that, I got 2 words for ya....

    Re: Ok now!!!

PV should win I've seen both they are better than Appy. Burton will beat Kelly even easier than PV beats Appy, and Clintwood will kill Pound. As for me I will be taking a long road trip to Gatlinburg-Pittman to watch my son play in first round of TSSAA playoffs, looks like we get to play in snow showers which should be interesting. Good luck to all teams, Gate City better watch out for Opendate they haven't lost a game in several years.

    Re: Ok now!!!

I read that the PV Appy game will be closer than its been in a while. The score last year was just 6-0 PV. That's a close game. Where were you last year?

    Re: Ok now!!!

With the Nasty weather that is to be in our area tomarrow night will it affect any of the games (IMHO it could make the Kelly/Norton game interesting if Norton is unable to put the ball in the air)

    Re: Ok now!!!

The Burton - JJ Kelly game should be closer than expected. Burton has been banged up since the Thomas Walker game and last week didn't help that cause out any. We will be without our starting WR's and starting DB's as Goins (suspended) and Short (hurt) will be on the shelf. We will be without a couple of lineman as well as a starting LB. So injuries will be a key in the game as well, I still feel Burton should win the game but I also thought they would win last year so you never know.
